Black Bart's second Roger

Description

This Jolly Roger belonged to the probably most succesfull Pirate in the Golden Age of Piracy: "Black bart Roberts"

This flag was Described in "Johnson's General History"
As followed:

"The Flag had a Death in it, with an Hour-Glass in one Hand, and cross Bones in the other, a Dart by it,
and underneath a Heart dropping three Drops of Blood"

A Death means a skeleton figure.

When I constructed this flag, I used a lot of parts from two Black Bart's already existing Jolly Roger prints,
In order to let this one fit in, with the existing prints of Roberts.

Most accounts of Black Bart's two flags Ive heard have him standing on two skulls in one, and dancing with death in another.
