I do a LOT of research when it comes to The Golden Age of Piracy.
I put a lot of this researching in Pirate flags, especially the Jolly Roger
Of witch the first known one is said to have bin the black flag of Emanuel Wynne
Witch was reported around reported around the year 1700.
However according to these Jolly Roger prints, Thomas Tew also flew a Jolly Roger.
And if he indeed did have his Famous Arm holding/wielding a cutlass as a flag (it isnt sure)
This Jolly Roger would date back about 8 years BEFORE Wynnes flag.
Anyway,
There are a number of historical Jolly Roger prints to be found in various book and all around the internet.
These prints have bin made through the reports that have bin made of Jolly Rogers in the 18th century.
However when Ive had a look at these reports, I noticed that a number of prints
where either not entirely correct, or where simply no where to be found.
So Ive decided to either Improve or correct those existing ones that have an in correction.
And create those that are less well known today,
but where equally well known and infamous at the time.
In order to make them fit in the list of already exiting Jolly Roger Prints,
I will at times construct the missing flag using parts of these known prints
